This random force generator builds you a Tau army using virtual dice instead of you picking it yourself. This can create some very interesting and challenging armies, but is well worth the fun.
The generator creates individual battlegroups, consisting of a single cadre plus support. To create a full army, use it to generate several battlegroups in turn until the points limit is reached.
It will be extremely rare that the generator gives you an army that meets the points cost allowance more or less exactly. The suggested method is to generate battlegroups until you are over the cost, and then drop some formations or upgrades until you reach the agreed points cost.
